Abstract

• Accommodative esotropia was defined as > 10 PD of intermittent or constant esotropia. • Fully accommodative esotropia (FAET) was diagnosed in those children having 4 weeks and maintaining such alignment for > one year. • Partially accommodative esotropia (PAET) was diagnosed in those children with 10 PD or more residual ET after wearing their full hyperopic spectacle correction for > 4 weeks. • Stereoacuity was tested with the fly and circles on the Stereo Fly Test (Stereo Optical Co., Inc.) at 40 cm.
