Abstract
The mechanism was studied for the nucleation of inelastic strain (its delayed elastic (anelastic) component ede and plastic component ep) during isothermal loading of specimens of organic glassy polymers of various chemical nature by uniaxial compression at Tdef < 0.6 Tg within the strain range edef < 45–50%.
