Abstract
You know what an engineer is, but what about an entrepreneur? Roget's Super Thesaurus, 1995 edition, describes an entrepreneur as "one who starts and runs her own business" with synonyms including "go-getter," "producer," "enterpriser," and "employer"--all descriptive of the business life of Stephen Hagemoen (except for the "her" part). You may wonder how he became an entrepreneur, a successful, respected one. Was he born with a silver spoon in his mouth? Was it pure chance? Far from it!
