Abstract

Last year I was invited to give a lecture before the Inter-State Post Graduate Medical Assembly of North America at its meeting in Kansas City, and I chose to speak about a new method of surgical treatment of stenosis of the larynx, which I had been using since 1910, and which had given me excellent results. My paper was published in the Proceedings of the Inter-State Post Graduate Medical Assembly of North America , which has a limited circulation. I have been asked, therefore, to prepare a restatement of this work for publication in theARCHIVES OFOTOLARYNGOLOGY, in which it will reach a large number of men who are interested in this sort of work.
