When it comes to stem cell therapy in oral medicine, exploring its status and clinical application prospects is crucial. This abstract focuses on reviewing the latest advancements in stem cell therapy within the field of oral medicine. It discusses the current status of clinical research and applications of stem cell therapy in oral diseases like periodontitis, dental injuries, and this paper focuses on assessing the potential of stem cell therapy in oral medicine, particularly in addressing oral and maxillofacial defects. Through literature compilation and summarization, it demonstrates the potential benefits and challenges of stem cell therapy in oral medicine. Particularly, in promoting oral tissue regeneration, alleviating patient discomfort, and enhancing oral functional restoration, stem cell therapy exhibits extensive prospects.
