Abstract
Summary Mass and energy balances are presented for a typical steamdrive steam distribution system. Independent measurements of steam mass and enthalpy rates, at the generators and injection wells, are compared using these balances. This comparison and accompanying error analysis of measurements is shown to provide a check on the reliability of steam distribution data. This procedure is demonstrated on a 21-pattern steamdrive. Steam allocation factors are presented for mass and enthalpy rates.
