Abstract

A mathematical model of carbon dioxide CO2 fixation by means of phenyl glycidyl ether (PGE) solution is presented and the reaction kinetics of the involved chemical reactions has been discussed. The system of nonlinear differential equations with a mixture of Dirichlet and Neumann boundary conditions have been effectively solved by the Taylor series method. Effect of the parameters on the enhancement factor is also discussed. The analytical result is programmed using computer algebra packages like Maple. The obtained approximate solutions are compared with numerical results and satisfactory agreement has been noted.
