Abstract
The authors report on experimental measurement of toroidal current Iphi up to about 1 kAmp driven by m=1 helical antennas fed at 330 kHz. Poloidal currents I0 are driven simultaneously by the same structure. The measurements are interpreted in terms of the nonlinear Hall effect terms being the active driving terms in the generalized Ohm's law.
