Abstract

An analysis is presented for the steady-state response of a delay-constrained adaptive linear predictor filter to a sinusoid in white noise. Expressions are derived for the steady-state adaptive weights, frequency response, and line suppression. A useful bound is also derived for the worst-case output signal-to-noise ratio as a function of normalized frequency and the order of the filter.
