Abstract

Many books written on healthy ageing but they are usually packed tight with scientific facts or they offer very light reading on the common sense of exercising. This holistic book is about achieving health and fitness goals. It is based on work and research undertaken to create the first post-graduate teacher-training course on exercise for older adults and from studies at professorship level in health science and applied nutrition.
