Abstract

In December 2010, the Jasmine Revolution that started in Tunisia brought significant political and economic unrest in the Middle East. By February 2011, the mass protests spread across Egypt, forcing President Hosni Mubarak to step down and resulted in Egypt’s Generals imposing Martial Law. Mubarak was replaced by an elected government of President Morsi, and another government was formed by the Martial Law of President Sisi. All these changes took place within a period of five years, a defining moment in the history of Egypt. This subject is of great importance from the point of view of civilized society to assess the suitable measures for the establishment of a social and political order in the changed environment related to Education, economy, and rehabilitation of the citizens of Egypt. The people had certain reasons for such a change isolated or uprooted, in quest of better economic environment to be made available, working conditions, as a whole to be taken care of. The right way to bring desired change the citizen need. Egypt needs to address its economic conditions and bring a change in the environment for which the citizens had been part of the two consecutive revolutions with the help of digital applications. The present study attempts to evaluate the various aspects of the Government of Egypt, USAID, UNDP and other International Agencies that are making an attempt to help in the required changes at international levels. This study provides insights on how to enhance the economic development programmes and legislative measures effectiveness in alleviating poverty and prejudices against women. Using an experimental Research Design, this study provides and supports the extant literature, which indicates a positive impact only in limited proportions of the multiple programmes enhancing the participant’s income, expenditure, education, equality amongst sexes. Empowerment of women, quality and quantity of children’s food, education, and the extent of desired reforms necessary in terms of women’s role in her family, her independence and empowerment, work situations and her participation in the family, and community affairs. This study also examines and assesses Egypt’s own and international efforts made in order to achieve the anticipated goals as envisaged in the theme of the Revolution in pre and post-Mubarak period. For The success of this study the informants were sincerely selected as to avoid bias. The respondents have been selected with dexterity, all educated and working who give a vivid view of their experiences and working in present situations. The interview schedule was prepared in English and translated in Arabic for clear understanding. It is objectively hoped that the compilation of the related material and the responses of Informants and their successful character shall go a long way to prove as worthy informants in the chosen spheres of success of this research work in 2017, a defining moment to be studied post revolution.
