Abstract
This paper gives a progress report for the SINR minicyclotron SMCAMS. A home-made multi-sample device for the ion source has been extensively tested and the sequential acceleration of 12C, 13C and 14C has been explored. The performance of SMCAMS is illustrated, remaining problems are pointed out and the potential for future improvements is discussed.
