Abstract
Members of the hunting spider genus Wulfila 0. P.-Cambridge (Aranea: Anyphaenidae) can be recognized immediately by their pale coloration, slight build, and extremely long, thin legs. The first pair of legs are at least two times the length of the body (Fig. 1). Six of the approximately fifty species in this tropical genus have been found in the continental United States (Platnick 1975). Most species in this genus have been rarely encountered and not much is known concerning their natural history (Dondale and Redner 1982).
