Abstract

The status of the 15 UD Pelletron Laboratory at the Nuclear Science Centre is described. Compressed geometry acceleration tubes will be used to achieve 16 MV terminal potential. Two major projects, recoil mass spectrometer and gamma detector array, are already funded by the University Grants Commission. The accelerator installation is expected to start in July 1989.
