Abstract
By examining the ground subsidence and actual conditions of mines in Korea, I have made this edit to improve the structure, flow, and clarity of the sentence.we analyzed the characteristics of ground subsidence, and attempted to determine any problems and suggest measures to improve tunnel stability. In addition, we examined technologies that can secure the stability of the tunnel and prevent ground subsidence. There are numerous types of ground subsidence that occur in domestic mining areas, such as trough, sinkhole, and step-type. Mining tunnels have a variety of rock conditions and must be appropriately designed based on the rock assessment. Factors that cause ground subsidence include the depth from the surface to the tunnel or mined cavity, geological status, and excessive mining. Preventive measures against ground subsidence include the proper design, excavation, and maintenance of the tunnel. To this end, three-dimensional geological maps, lidar surveys, microseismic, and drone techniques can be used.
