Abstract
This article presents where Moroccan companies stand the use of the measurement techniques in predictive maintenance. The objective is to identify the main advantages and disadvantages of each measurement technique (vibratory analysis; thermography; radiography; penetrant testing; magnetoscopy and ultrasonic) taking into account the characteristics of the production (continuous, discontinuous, by project) and the sector of activity (agri-food, automobile, textile, service sector...). This survey allows determining how many Moroccan industries use measurement techniques to avoid breakage that could slow down and even stop producing a preventive maintenance program. It brings the original data on the choice of a technique among others considering the nature of the physical monitoring parameter and criteria of speed, cost, reproducibility, reliability, sensitivity and resolution of each measurement technique. As a result, the industrial managers may rely on the results of this survey in order to use a maintenance program directed to a predictive maintenance. The most suitable technique should be chosen, taking into consideration the field of activity of each company and based on the advantages and disadvantages of each measurement technique.
