Abstract
Small-strain hardened soil model is suitable for fine numerical simulation because it considers the compression and shear hardening of soil. However, setting the parameters of the model is difficult. Based on the analysis of the physical meaning of each parameter and the statistical analysis of parameter values of the small strain model reported by researchers, the empirical relationship between several parameters is obtained in this study. Accordingly, valuation methods of parameters are discussed.
