Abstract

In this paper the measurements of impulse response functions of a 2.0 GHz indoor radio channel are reported. A statistical analysis of the dynamic characteristics of the amplitude of multipath components is presented. In particular the spatial correlation of the single multipath components and the cross correlation between the amplitudes of adjacent multipath components have been computed. On the basis of the experimental results conclusions are drawn with regard to the adequacy of the wide sense uncorrelated scattering model as a consistent model for an indoor radio channel.
