Statistical analysis of inequality in the distribution of income and expenses of the population in the Republic of Azerbaijan

Abstract

In the article, based on the information of the State Statistics Committee, an economic-statistical analysis of the unequal distribution of incomes and expenses of the population in the Republic of Azerbaijan for the period of 1995-2021 was carried out, and an absolute equality curve was constructed, which visually shows the degree of stratification of the society using the Gini index and the Lorenz curve. The results of the calculations were carried out using the MS Excel package, the income and expenses of the studied population group, as well as the statistics of the economically active population, were analyzed accordingly. At the same time, an autoregression analysis was conducted and it was learned that the model has a stationary structure with the second design difference.
