Abstract

This paper presents algorithms for the calculation of periodic steady-state responses (PSR) including the advantages of the extended state approach (ESA). The quick search of PSR is outlined for both, the non-autonomous and the autonomous case and for circuits containing delaying devices like transmission lines as well. The presented theory of PSR is verified by two well-known examples of literature: the Cuk-converter and the Colpitts-oscillator. Another example demonstrates the enormous short computation time of ESA in connection with electrical circuits consisting of many transmission lines.
