Abstract
This chapter describes the formation and release of air pollutants from different stationary sources. Different methods to reduce emission of air pollutants from stationary sources to the atmosphere will be treated: First reduction of the formation of air pollutants using the principles of clean technology and life cycle assessment then the methods for control of particulate and gaseous emissions from stationary sources.
