Abstract

The possibility of creating stationary circulation of a perfect gas in a closed-loop with a variable cross section in the absence of external force fields is considered. It is shown that it is possible to support the circulation in this loop only due to the external supply of heat in a wide part of the loop and heat extraction in a narrow one. The numerical simulation results are given, and thermodynamic analysis of the processes occurring in the circulating medium is performed.
