Abstract

This paper is concerned with a stochastic phytoplankton–zooplankton model with toxin-producing phytoplankton and regime-switching. Sharp sufficient conditions for the existence of a unique ergodic stationary distribution of the model are provided. Some previous results are improved and generalized. The theoretical results are also applied to study the evolution of Noctiluca scintillans and Paracalanus in India.
