Abstract
Station Distribution is one of the key problems affecting the accuracy of TDOA (time difference of arrival) passive location. In order to obtain the optimal positioning results in a given reconnaissance area, a station distribution optimization algorithm of TDOA location is proposed in this paper, which is adaptive matching the reconnaissance area. In this algorithm, the mathematical modeling of location error is firstly implemented, and then the cost function of location error is constructed in the reconnaissance area. On this basis, the adaptive differential evolution algorithm is carried to find the optimal station distribution to minimize the cost function. The simulation results show that compared with the classical station distribution methods, the station distribution produced by the proposed algorithm can be adjusted adaptively with the reconnaissance area, the TDOA location error is effectively reduced in the reconnaissance area, and more accurate positioning results are obtained.
