Abstract

This paper proposes joint frequency and time domain optimization of static scheduling for advance reservation (AR) requests in elastic optical networks (EONs). We formulate the problem as an integer linear program (ILP) and then propose two scheduling schemes. Simulation results show that compared with ILP, our scheme can achieve the same performance in terms of spectrum utilization with efficient time complexity.
