Abstract
Static properties of nucleons are evaluated in the modified Skyrme model with a term of sixth order in momentum, but at most of second order in its component. Taking the nucleon mass, the pion decay constant, and the axial coupling constant as inputs, we could predict other quantities in good agreement with the experiments.
