Abstract

The linear matrix inequalities formulation is presented to design a static output feedback control for discrete-time linear positive systems. Coupling together the set of linear matrix inequalities warranting the closed-loop system positive structure, the set of linear matrix equalities supporting elimination of bilinear matrix relations and an additional matrix inequality keying asymptotic stability of the controlled system, the design conditions are outlined to construct the positive closed-loop scheme with a positive control gain. The proposed approach is numerically illustrated.
