Abstract

In the article by R. Kohen-Raz,1 the author has a remarkable definition of the Romberg position. Classically, the Romberg position is defilled as standing with feet together, parallel, rather than one behind the other, and eyes open. I would suggest that he consider consultation with a neurological textbook, for exampie. The Neurological Examination by Russell DeJong or any other basic handbook for medical students on the neurologic examination. I would hope that all the children included in the study, regardless of grouping, had a neurological examination to rule out any neuromuscular disease that would interfere with maintenance of static balance.
