Abstract
State leaders and stakeholders have had mixed reactions to the Treatment Advocacy Center's (TAC's) “Grading the States: An Analysis of Involuntary Psychiatric Treatment Laws,” report, which provides state‐by‐state analysis of involuntary treatment laws (see story beginning on page one). However, many agree it is prompting dialogue on the challenges of meeting the needs of people with serious mental illness.
