Abstract
As talk of cloud computing continues to escalate, much is being made of the ability to outsource security. But recent cases in the banking world have confirmed that business in managed security services, extolled in previous years as the great panacea to all ills, is declining as Security Operation Centers (SOCs) return to the client's home facilities. This begs the question: is it possible to manage security exclusively using internal resources?
