Abstract

In this paper, Wind turbine (WT), Photovoltaic system (PV), Fuel Cell system (FC) and Hydel power system (HP) is utilized for Electric Vehicle charging stations (EVCS). With growing demand of electric vehicles, charging of EVCS became most important. The EVCS is designed to extract power and charge battery from different renewable source at different terrains. In difficult terrains, EVCS becomes ineffective to store charge for electric vehicles. So sources availability in particular terrain can increase the use of electric vehicles. However, State of charge (SOC) of battery is one of the challenging parameter for best performance of battery. SOC variation with power and voltage of renewable energy systems are calculated. Simulation based results is obtained with comparison analysis of SOC variation. The proposed analysis may be used to increase the EVCS system installation in difficult terrain areas and increase the demand of Electric vehicles.
