Abstract

The article presents the main characteristics of the development of higher pedagogical education in Bulgaria at the beginning of the third decade of the 21st century. Its content diversity is examined – not only in relation to the teaching profession, but also to other pedagogical specialists being taught in the pedagogical faculties, including in management positions in the field of education. Both the state of development of the three professional directions in the field of higher education Pedagogical Sciences – Theory and Management of Education, Pedagogy and Pedagogy of Training in..., as well as prospects for increasing the quality of training for students – future pedagogical specialists are presented.
