Abstract
The completion of 7 World Trade Center—the first structure to be rebuilt on the site of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks in New York City—marks the rebirth of the site known as Ground Zero. Fittingly, the towering structure employs many of the structural redundancy and life safety measures that have been called for with respect to tall buildings since that fateful day.
