Abstract
CME Educational Objectives 1. Evaluate the magnitude of the problem of children seeking care for injuries in the pediatric emergency department, and the opportunities this presents for injury prevention education. 2. Describe the development of a Safety Resource Center and the challenges faced in making this a successful sustainable endeavor. 3. Recognize the measures useful in judging the success or failure of a Safety Resource Center in a hospital, and the usefulness of this data in insuring the sustainability of such a service.
