Abstract

In this article, I present Stanisławów in the interwar period in selected aspects. I would like to present various issues related to population changes, the development of architecture and the urban economy of Stanisławów. The timeline of the article covers the years 1919–1939, from the takeover of power in the city by the Poles (May 25), until the outbreak of World War II and the entry of the Soviets into the city (September 19). The analysis of the collected materials shows how diverse and rich that time was for Stanisławów and its inhabitants.
