Abstract

In this communication we report the calorimetric data for the standard state enthalpies of solution of cesium chloride obtained from low concentrations, down to (10 −3 m), integral heats of solution measurement up to temperature of 573.30 K and extrapolated to 598.15 K. From these data and the unified theory of electrolytes, the complete standard state thermodynamic properties ( H 2 ∘ , G 2 ∘ , C p , 2 ∘ , V 2 ∘ , ( ∂ V 2 ∘ / ∂ T ) p , ( ∂ V 2 ∘ / ∂ p ) T ) of aqueous cesium chloride were determined up to temperature of 598.15 K.
