Abstract

A stand has been developed for the study of thermal neutralization process of oily waters. The design features of the stand, which allows simulating conditions in the diesel flue, are described. The tasks of the experiment are formulated and the characteristics of the measuring instruments of the stand are given. The first results of an experimental study of thermal neutralization of oily waters are presented. The main results of the first series of studies at the stand are the data obtained on the composition of exhaust gases and temperatures in the flue. These parameters are compared with similar parameters measured in the flues of ships diesel engines of the G70-5 type and the 8GCHN22/28 gas engine, when they operate at nominal (or close to it) mode.
