Abstract
Purpose: Standardised efficacy testing of contact lens disinfection solutions is limited to 5 ISO/FDA specified strains. This study instead evaluated efficacy of one-step hydrogen peroxide disinfection systems against 17 additional ocular pathogens, including methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus epidermidis (MRSE) and quinolone resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa (QRPA).
