Abstract

A patient with stage IB glassy cell carcinoma of the uterine cervix and ovarian metastases is described. The aggressive nature of this tumor necessitates its histologic and clinical distinction from other forms of cervical carcinoma. Ovarian conservation at the time of radical surgery for this type of cervical carcinoma may not be advisable.
