Abstract

The article looks at the introduction of the assistant practitioner (AP) role into the established nursing teams within North Bristol NHS Trust (NBT) by means of an evaluation of staff perceptions through their stories. This research was completed during 2011 and was submitted as a dissertation in partial fulfilment for the degree of MSc Leadership and Management in 2012.
