Abstract
It is important for a new superconducting device application to demonstrate Josephson effect by homoepitaxial all diamond junction. Using only CVD diamond, we have fabricated stacked SNS (superconductor–normal conductor superconductor) Josephson junction where normal state diamond film is sandwiched by superconducting diamond films. The current–voltage (I–V) characteristics of the junction showed clear Josephson properties at 2K.
