Abstract
This paper considers the control of a Step-up DC-DC Converter using a method based on the definition of a Lyapunov function, unique for the different modes of the system and deduced from energetic considerations. The boolean control variables are directly deduced in order to ensure the negativity of a Lyapunov function derivative. As asymptotic stability requires null intervals between switching times, a dead zone is introduced which determines the frequency of the system variables oscillations. A secondary feedback loop is used to control them.
