Abstract

This paper introduces sliding mode control for singular Takagi–Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy Markovian jump system with mode-dependent derivative-term coefficient. Firstly, a new continuous switching function is designed. Then sufficient conditions about admissibility of sliding motion under the case of completely known transition rate and uncertain transition rate are presented, respectively. The obtained conditions are strict linear matrix inequalities. Furthermore, a sliding mode controller is presented. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the obtained results in this paper.
