Abstract
In this paper, stability analysis is studied for coupled complex networks using distributed control in a unified model. Under this new model, we combine the multi-agent systems with complex networks nicely, allowing for inherent physical connections between agents and communication transmissions among controllers. Necessary and sufficient conditions under both distributed state feedback and observer-based output feedback control are given for the coupled dynamical systems. A two-step controller design procedure based on a parameter dependent Lyaponov function is presented, which reduces some conservativeness compared to the original direct Lyaponov method. The robustness of the system is also discussed in the presence of disturbances. Finally, some numerical examples are given to illustrate the theoretical results.
