Abstract

This paper addresses the stabilization problem for linear discrete-time systems via limited capacity noisy channels, by which sensors and controllers are connected. It is derived that there exists a lower bound of data rates above which there exists a coding and control scheme to stabilize linear discrete-time dynamical systems over noisy communication channels. A sufficiency condition for the stabilization is derived. Simulations are done to verify the obtained theoretical results.
