Abstract
In this paper, we present some results on the observer’s design for the wave equation in a bounded, regular domain of Rn. We study the multidimensional case with measurements of state and velocity in an open subset. We obtain an exponential convergence of the error and we calculate the rate of decay, that is we stabilize the equation with a feedback law that acts in the interior of the domain.
