Abstract
Global asymptotic stability results are given here for isolated equilibrium points of abstract semilinear evolution equations.The theorems obtained allow us to consider a class of reaction-diffusion problems in which the interaction terms are not necessarily of a pointwise kind.Particular attention has been given to the analysis of deterministic diffusive epidemic models.
