Abstract
This paper investigates the stability of a class of variable-time switched systems whose switching times are dependent on system states. To overcome the difficulty that switching times are not explicit, we construct a new fixed-time switched impulsive system whose stability is equivalent to the stability of the variable-time switched system. In the light of the mode-dependent average dwell time and the constructed fixed-time switched impulsive systems, sufficient conditions for exponential stability of variable-time switched systems are obtained. Finally, two applications are employed to indicate the effectiveness of the proposed results.
