Abstract
Roxatidine acetate hydrochloride is a histamine H2-receptor antagonist used in the treatment of peptic ulcers and hypersecretory conditions. The drug is thought to act by inhibiting gastric acid secretion.[1][1] The inhibitory effect is reported to be six times as potent as that of cimetidine.[2][2
