Abstract

In the frame of the time-dependent Ginzburg-Landau model the evolution of localized excitations in the vicinity of the phase transition is considered. The critical nucleus of a stable phase in a metastable one and the evolution of the isolated domain of a new phase for systems with different space dimensionality are studied both analytically and numerically.
